November 3rd - English Champion Emily Goring was invited to take part in the ceremonies and perform her BAR routine as Birmingham played host to the Queen’s Baton Relay. The Relay, which has been the curtain raiser to every Commonwealth Games since 1958, began its journey from Buckingham Palace  and the baton will be carried for almost 340 days before arriving in  Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
